What an amazing week for Science as we witnessed the first solar eclipse in over eight years! Mr. Davila, a NASA scientist stopped by WKA this week to enhance our learning on the Solar Eclipse, explaining how we will be able to view the moon pass between the sun and earth on August 21st! He provided all of our WKA children with special Solar Eclipse glasses, allowing us to view this remarkable event!

On August 21st, we all gathered to view the Solar Eclipse with one another during our indoor viewing party! All of our children were able to witness this historic event and enhance their learning on solar systems!
