Throughout the past three weeks our Aventuras have been hard at work becoming STEAM experts focusing on Engineering, Architecture and Science! We blasted off this week with fizzy explosions, volcano eruptions, and film canister rockets! We solved mysteries, riddles, puzzles and quests and ended our days in our Great Thinking Hall and even had a presentation by a NASA specialist who informed our scientists of the upcoming solar eclispe!

We traveled to the Maryland Science Center where we viewed a planetarium show on solar superstorms, explored the various aspects of the body and cells system and participated in a study of dinosaurs. We finished our week creating lava lamps, slime, quick sand and flubber!

Our Camperos have had a wonderful summer and we are so happy to have successfully completed our first year of summer camp together! Our Aventuras Summer Camp has truly been a summer to remember and we cannot wait to see what our Aventuras will accomplish throughout our After School Enrichment program this fall!
