The Ducklings and Sweetpeas have been learning about the beach and how to stay safe this summer! Each day, they created an aquatic themed art project, further developing their fine motor skills. Some of their favorites include an ocean collage, sand island, and lei necklace. They engaged in sensory play by exploring the ocean and all it has to offer with their five senses and enhanced their gross motor skills with outdoor water play and a fun game of noodle ball!

They continued their learning by utilizing their mathematics skills when sorting shells and counting how many fish a shark can eat. The Ducklings and Sweetpeas then became mini-scientists when determining what objects will slink or float when placed in water and mixed together ingredients for banana ice cream! What a wonderful treat they were able to enjoy at their Luau!
